URGENT PRAYER REQUEST
:  Gwendolyn Parker Williams was born March 1st at 1:28 pm, weighing in at 1 lb 7 oz., at Overland Park Regional Hospital.  Although Gwendolyn was not actually scheduled to appear until June, due to complications, it became necessary to induce labor.

Mom, Julie, has been released from the hospital and is recovering at home.  Baby Gwendolyn will need to remain hospitalized for approximately 3 months, and the doctor reports are encouraging.  Your prayers are desperately needed.

(from "Somewhere It's Snowing")

I once read in a poem,
when snow covers the earth. . .
That it hides the world's scars
   and gives nature new birth.
And they say when a man turns from sin to the Lord,
that forgiveness, like snow, covers him evermore!

Now, it's told that the angels
   lift their hearts and rejoice
When one traveler turns homeward
from his way to the Lord's.
If somewhere someone's turning, he's giving his all,
and God's grace, like the snow, is beginning to fall!

And somewhere, it's snowing - see the soft drifting down,
as the snowflakes surrender to the hardening ground.
Like the good grace of Jesus, that now covers our sin -
in the kingdom of Heaven, it's snowing again!

Please keep Joey Wood and Patrick Easley on your prayer list.  Each is trying to raise money for their summer endeavors.  Joe has been chosen to attend a 2-week missions trip to Brazil this June with E-Team Brazil, and Pat was chosen for the 2010 YET team.  Pat will be traveling on the 4-state tour before heading to Oklahoma City for the National Convention in July.  Both young men need our support.
